It is a stone road residing in a pool of lava. The most dangerous obstacles are the Thwomps. They appear in groups of four. The Thwomps stay in the air during the first lap, then try to crush the players afterwards. They can also be a simple barrier on the ground. Beware, Lava Magma. Mario Circuit 2 (マリオサーキット２ Mario Sākitto 2) is the fifth and final course of the Mushroom Cup in Super Mario Kart, later reused in Mario Kart: Super Circuit and Mario Kart 7. It is a tarmac circuit set in grassland.
