Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 on a MacBook + GTX 1050 Ti (Quality, 1080p)

Can you game on a mac? Yes, with the power of an eGPU. Here I am doing a benchmark of a favorite fighting game of mine on my MacBook Air eGPU setup with Windows 10. External Graphics Card, aka eGPU, allows me to pump up the graphical settings and resolution for any game I play. I basically converted my mac into a gaming PC. Want to learn how my eGPU setup works? Here's my guide!    • How to game on a MacBook (ft. GTX 1050 Ti)   Essentially what I've done is acquire a Thunderbolt PCIe Expansion Box that lets me attach an EVGA GTX 1050 Ti SC Gaming 4GB to my MacBook through Thunderbolt. You can't normally just buy a graphics card and make this work - only the Akitio Thunder2 PCIe Expansion Box makes this possible. Now I don't have to game on weak integrated graphics - instead the power of an external graphics for laptop lets me run games at 1920x1080 on Medium to High at 60fps. Don't forget that you have to use Bootcamp Assistant to install Windows 10 on mac. Please be kind, I barely got into the game! I've played Skullgirls and MvC3 before, but the learning curve is a bit tough for me. Ky Kiske vs. Elphelt - 0:13 Dizzy vs. Baiken - 5:05 Kuradoberi Jam vs. Venom - 8:38 Don't expect to buy and download this game from Steam like 1.. 2.. 3..! It's not that easy - you really have to dedicate time to doing what I did to make it work. Remember you need the eGPU to boost your graphics and you have to use Bootcamp Assistant to put Windows on your mac so that you have access to your PC games on Steam. Luckily enough, I simplified it for you in the "How to game on a MacBook (ft. GTX 1050 Ti)" video up there - make sure to watch it fully! Sidenote: The game is pretty fast paced, but I would have to say Marvel vs Capcom Ultimate 3 and Skullgirls are a lot more quicker in terms of gameplay. It honestly reminds me a lot of BlazBlue and Arc System's upcoming Dragon Ball Fighter Z. Playing Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 to prepare for Dragon Ball Fighter Z is a really good idea! Anywho, please share this video with friends or family because its this channel's goal to show the world you can game on a mac and these computers have a great potential to be gaming machines - I mean, look at my MacBook Air eGPU! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Don't forget that I have various other benchmarks which include: Overwatch Dead by Daylight Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Unigine Valley Unigine Superposition Nier Automata Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) DOOM 2016 Minecraft Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 (GGXrd Rev 2) Coming soon: Projects CARS Heroes of the Storm Rocket League Ori and the Blind Forest PAYDAY 2 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- eGPU Setup Specs: MacBook Air 13-inch, Early 2014 Operating System: Windows 10 Processor: i7-4650U @1.7 Ghz, 2.3 Ghz Turbo (2 Cores, 4 Threads) Memory: 8 GB 1600 Mhz DDR3 RAM Graphics Card: EVGA GTX 1050 TI SC Gaming 4GB Enclosure: Akitio Thunder2 PCI-E Expansion Box Thunderbolt 1 (10GB/s) eGPU Settings: Intel HD Graphics 5000: Enabled Benchmarking Program: MSI Afterburner & Rivatuner Statistics Recording Program: Nvidia Shadowplay 2.11.4.0 (Driver v.382.05) Power Management Mode: Optimal Power Link State Power Management: Off (for both On Battery & Plugged In)
