UN Peacekeepers strive to leave a positive legacy and build sustainable and good environmental management practices in mission. To highlight these efforts, the Strategic Force Generation Cell (SFGC) of the Department of Peace Operations (DPO) and the Environmental Affairs unit of the Department of Operational Support (DOS) have compiled examples of mission uniformed personnel working toward the goal of safeguarding the environment.
