(4 May 1980) As the seige of the Iranian embassy in London entered its fourth day, Britain recalled its ambassador to Iran. At the same time, the scores of pro-Khomeini Iranian students who have been persistently demonstrating against the seizure of their embassy by southern-Iranian-Arab gunmen, said they were leaving because of their government's orders, and not as an act of surrender to British police.
