Missile Attack On Damascus Airport As Israel Vows To Foil Iran's "Hezbollah 2.0" Plans in Syria

An Israeli missile strike put the Damascus International Airport out of service on January 2, the second such attack in seven months. The Syrian army said in a statement that a volley of air-launched missiles had hit the airport at 2 am. Israeli officials say the attacks are meant to disrupt Tehran’s increasing use of aerial supply lines to deliver arms to allies in Syria and Hezbollah. This was after Israel reportedly disrupted Iran’s ground supply to ferrying military equipment to its forces.
