Like many other Sunni Islamic activists/revivalists, he preached that the teachings of the Qur'an and the Sunnah and divine law of Sharia must be implemented in all spheres of life, that the Caliphate must be restored as a true Islamic state, and that Western values and influences were a threat to Islam and Pakistan. He was also known for his belief that Pakistan, not Arab lands, should be the foundation for a new caliphate, that democratic governance was unislamic, and his opposition to Shi'i Islam. He was awarded the Sitara-i-Imtiaz, the third-highest civilian award of Pakistan, in 1981.) In this video, Dr. Israr Ahmed Tells us about Surah Al-Hijr Ayat 9. Surah Al-Hijr Ayat 9 in Arabic: اِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا الذِّكۡرَ وَاِنَّا لَهٗ لَحٰـفِظُوۡنَ English transliteration: This Verse is a challenge to mankind and everyone is obliged to believe in the miracles of this Qur’ân. It is a clear fact that more than 1400 years have elapsed and not a single word of this Qur’ân has been changed, although the disbelievers tried their utmost to change it in every way, but they failed miserably in their efforts. As it is mentioned in this holy Verse: "We will guard it." By Allâh! He has guarded it. On the contrary, all the other holy Books [the Taurât (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel).] have been corrupted in the form of additions or subtractions or alterations in the original text. Urdu transliteration: بے شك یہ یاد دہانی (کتاب) ہم ہی نے اتاری ہے اور ہم ہی اس کے محافظ ہیں Raha yeh zikr, to isko humne nazil kiya hai aur hum khud iske nigehbaan hain He tells us from the reference of surah Fussilat ayat 42 in Quran Arabic : لَّا يَاۡتِيۡهِ الۡبَاطِلُ مِنۡۢ بَيۡنِ يَدَيۡهِ وَلَا مِنۡ خَلۡفِهٖؕ تَنۡزِيۡلٌ مِّنۡ حَكِيۡمٍ حَمِيۡدٍ English transliteration: Falsehood cannot come to it from before it or behind it: (it is) sent down by the All-Wise, Worthy of all praise (Allâh عز وجل). Urdu transliteration: Baatil na saamne se ispar aa sakta hai na peechey se, yeh ek hakeem (most wise) o Hameed(Immensely Praiseworthy) ki nazil karda cheez hai. another reference from Quran Pak which is Surah Al-Qiyamah Ayat 16-17 in arabic: لَا تُحَرِّكۡ بِهٖ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعۡجَلَ بِهٖؕ اِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا جَمۡعَهٗ وَقُرۡاٰنَهٗۚ ۖ Surah al Qayamah verses 16-17 in English transliteration: Move not your tongue concerning (the Qur’ân, O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) to make haste therewith. It is for Us to collect it and to give you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) the ability to recite it (the Qur’ân).
