It typically drops as an unidentified rare item but can be re-crafted as a normal/magic/rare item. Mechanics In order to use this invitation to open portals to The Maven's Crucible, the player must kill the map bosses of the following end-game encounters when the Maven is witnessing the bosses: All side bosses spawned by Venarius in Cortex or Replica Cortex Chayula in Chayula's Domain (Chayula's Flawless Breachstone is also eligible) Uber Atziri, Queen of the Vaal in The Alluring Abyss (Atziri in The Apex of Sacrifice or Temple of Atzoatl does not count) The Shaper in The Shaper's Realm The Elder in the Absence of Value and Meaning Having the Maven witness the Uber Elder fight will counts as defeating both The Shaper and The Elder, and will grant witness status for both The Shaper's Realm and Absence of Value and Meaning. When the corresponding boss is defeated, the invitation will highlight the completed map with white text. The player will fight all five endgame bosses in the Maven's Crucible in the invitation itself who use modified versions of their skills. Atziri does not have reflect in this encounter, and only Synthete Nightmare is present from Cortex. Once the invitation is opened, the various encounters' witness status will reset."
