Game Over and Over (2024) | Minions Short

Included as a bonus mini-movie on the Despicable Me 4 home media release, Game Over and Over follows Stuart and Kevin while playing video games inside Gru’s house. After Stuart accidentally breaks his controller, he discovers an experimental powered-up controller in Gru’s lab that allows him to directly control Kevin’s movements in the real world like a video game character. As Stuart becomes increasingly absorbed in scoring points and completing “missions,” Kevin is forced into increasingly chaotic and destructive situations throughout the house. The short builds around slapstick physical comedy and escalating mayhem as the controller’s effects turn ordinary gameplay into real-world disaster.
