Advanced Towed Artillery Gun System (ATAGS) - India - 2017

India in September 2017 test fired it's indigenous artillery gun (ATAGS) in Pokhran, Rajasthan, India. The test achieved a world record distance of 47.2 kms from the gun position. It is being developed in collaboration with TATA. The main rivals of this type of artillery gun are the Israeli Elbit and French Nexter.
