The show has become infamous thanks to the semi main event; Hollywood Hogan vs The Warrior. Hogan vs Warrior took place back at WWF WrestleMania VI and at Halloween Havoc the two squared off again in a rematch. The match, however, turned out to be one of the worst matches that World Championship Wrestling ever put on PPV and Warrior would leave the company shortly after. Elsewhere on the card The Outsiders wrestle eachother when Scott Hall (representing nWo Hollywood) takes on Kevin Nash (representing nWo Wolfpac). Bret "Hitman" Hart takes on Sting in a dream match, and Rick Steiner tries to finally get his hands on his brother Scott Steiner. The main event, DDP vs Goldberg, was widely viewed as the best match of the night.
