2016 VTO Elite 100 Combine Camp Charlotte @ Mallard Creek High School

VTO Elite 100 Charlotte Preview VTO Sports is the National Industry Leader in delivering the best high school football Camps and Combines training methods in the market today. They will be having their VTO Sports Elite 100 Showcase on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Mallard Creek HS in Charlotte. This event is open to Elite D1 and D2 College Prospects - 2017, 2018, 2019. The cost is $85 and is by Invitation Only. VTO Sports will be giving 3 invites to Rivals Camp in Charlotte on April 17th. The VTO Sports Elite 100 Showcase is uniquely designed to provide athletes with a platform to showcase their talents in position-specific drills, a wealth of information on the recruiting process, and tools for life skills. The athletes will be put through a full on-field evaluation process which includes: Position Specific Drills (All Athletes) 7 on 7 (Skill) Linemen Challenge (Linemen) Extensive 1 on 1’s (All Athletes) Event ends with the Linemen OL vs DL on the 50 yard line Currently, there are over 160 players signed up from North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and New Jersey for this wonderful and competitive event. These events have been platform where players have made strides in the recruitment process. VTO Sports 100 Elite Alumni players includes the following: Da'shawn Hand, Leonard Fournette, Carl Lawson, Jaylon Smith, Kenny Bigelow, O.J. Howard, Max Browne, Marquez North, Derrick Green, D.J. Humphries, Jonathan Bullard, Jadeveon Clowney, Robert Crisp, and Xavier Nixon. Here are some players to keep an eye on during Sunday's events. These players had outstanding seasons last year on the gridiron. •Tye Mintz is a sophomore quarterback from Cherokee High School in Western NC. Mintz is starting to get some college interest after a very successful season. As a QB, Mintz completed 149 of 283 passes for 1,872 yards with 17 TDs and ran 149 times for 882 yards with 9 TDs. On defense, he played safety and made 72 tackles and 3 INTs. •Zach Gemmell is a junior wide receiver from Heritage High School in Wake Forest NC. Gemmell had a productive junior year as he caught 38 passes for 743 yards with 9 TDs. Zach has an older brother Jeff, who was also a standout at Heritage and currently plays at Charlotte. •Landen Leiser is a sophomore quarterback from Clayton High School in Clayton NC. In 2015 he passed for 21 TD's and rushed for 1 TD. Comets WR Josh Collins competes as well in the black #469 jersey. The Clayton Comets compete in the NC 4-A Greater Neuse Conference.
