An important but often overlooked aspect is checking the high and low pressure vs Ambient temperature to check for a full charge, I cover this as well in this video. I also cover how the new cans of refrigerant have a check valve in them and are not pierceable. You must either use a special valve with these cans or manipulate the valve so that the flow remains open. Having a good working A/C in the summer is important! But. it's also as important to have a good A/C/ compressor during winter. Defrosting your windshield relies on the A/C compressor to dehumidify the cabin air so it can effectively defrost your windshield!
