One of these combinations is significantly less effective. Mist Raven is used to avoid lightning damage in third phase and the mortal blade AoE in Inner Isshin 1st phase. 1st phase of Inner Isshin is horrible in this challenge due to many feinted and delayed attacks and the fact that he can do the pommel strike into sweep at any time, and not just as a response to getting close to him when he's preparing the draw attack. That's why I'm using a slightly cheesy approach with doing a single attack instead of series of two. Typically I like avoiding mikiri counter for these bosses, but it's just too easy to make a small mistake in such long fights, and each deflected spear thrust means around three extra deflects and no opportunity for an hp hit (example at 10:05). #sekiro #nohit #fromsoftware #isshin #isshinashina
