UNLOCKING OUR GREATEST ADVANTAGE Tuesday 08th July 2025 Luke 1:34-35 When the Angel appeared to Mary and told her she was going to give birth to the Savior, she asked, "How can this be, since I do not know a man?" This question reveals Mary's understanding that what she was about to bring forth didn't need a man or man's effort. The Holy Spirit is the one who makes the Christian life easy for every child of God. However, it's about how we relate to Him, fellowship with Him, and how much of Him we permit to flow through our lives and influence us. Without the Spirit of God, we are bankrupt of real power. Unfortunately, many of us in the kingdom haven't yet learned to exercise the advantage we have in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. There's a form of righteousness, peace, and joy outside the Holy Spirit, which the Bible calls "filthy rags." This is the peace that the world gives, and joy produced by happenings. However, the Kingdom life we’re born into is powered by the Spirit, not natural means, yet many believers still rely on the natural, which may explain the many casualties in the body of Christ. Our ability to navigate the world, overcome darkness, live a life that honors God, and fulfill our prophetic destiny is directly tied to the person of the Holy Spirit, regardless of what God has called us to do (ministry, business, marriage, etc). John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. Our advantage on this earth is not our degree, diploma, or master's degree, but the person of the Holy Spirit. If only we can learn to engage Him in the different dimensions of our lives, we shall manifest more of Him. The speaking of God is what gives us an advantage in this Kingdom. You can determine your manifestation on earth depending on the degree of your yieldedness to the Holy Spirit. Acts 10:34-35 (NLT), Philippians 2:7-8 As believers and sons, we must take advantage of our sonship by allowing the Holy Spirit to reign over our lives, as it is impossible to manifest sonship without His leadership. Let us emulate Jesus, who walked this earth as a man but submitted His life to the Holy Spirit's dominion, thus fully manifesting God. By emulating Him, we allow the Holy Spirit to have His rightful place in our lives, leading us to walk in victory and dominion as well. I pray this word will cause a stirring in your spirit to develop a degree of intimacy that you may be able to reveal Him to this generation, keeping you contrite, broken, and humble enough that He may have absolute dominion over your life.
