Palak Muthiya | પાલક મુઠીયા બનાવવાની રીત | Spinach Muthiya | Palak Dumplings | Gujarati Muthiya Hi friends welcome back to my channel Hetal's kitchen and lifestyle. Today I am going to show you a recipe of how to make Palak Muthiya. This recipe is very healthy and very easy to make. So let's start making it. Let’s see what all ingredients will be needed. Here I have used 2 cups of spinach leaves. I have washed and chopped it in small pieces. 3/4 cup kanki corma flour (mix of rice and lentil coarse flour) 2 & 1/2 tbsp water Let's look at what other ingredients will be needed. 3 tbsp oil 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp sugar. Sugar is optional. Salt to taste 1 tsp red chilly powder 1 tbsp ginger and chilly crushed 1 tbsp garlic crushed 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp cumin coriander powder 1/4 tsp Eno (fruit salt) First of all we will take a bowl and add flour to it and then add all masalas. Next add turmeric powder then cumin coriander powder and after that add red chilly powder Now add lemon juice Next add oil Then add crushed ginger, chilly and garlic Mix it well with hand. Now add salt to it and then add water and at last add spinach leaves. Again mix it well. At this stage if you feel flour mix is too thin you can add 1-2 tbsp flour too it. Now add Eno and mix it well, our mixture is now ready. Now take a plate and grease it with the oil so that palak muthiya doesn't stick. Next we will create cylindrical log or whatever shape you want to create from the mixture. Around 3 logs will be made. Now we will steam muthiya/log. I have put the pan on the gas and taken 2 cup of water in it. Water is boiled, now i will put the plate in the water to steam the muthiya/log. Cover the pan and keep the gas flame on medium. Steam it for 15 minutes. While the muthiya is steaming, we will complete seasoning of muthiya. Ingredients for seasoning: 3 tbsp oil 1 tsp sesame seeds 1 tsp mustard seeds pinch of asafoetida 15 minutes is complete now we will check the muthiya with toothpick. If tooth pick is clean that means muthiya is steamed well. Let's close the gas and let the muthiya cool down. Once it cools down we will cut it. Try to cut the muthiya in bigger size so that it doesn't break. Cut all the 3 logs of muthiya. Let's start seasoning now. Take a pan on the gas and put the oil. Once oil is heated add the asafoetida, mustard seeds and sesame seeds. Once mustard and sesame seeds are crackled put the muthiya logs. Now add the sugar to it and gently with the spatuala mix it well. Don't break the muthiya. Heat it up for around 1 minute and then close the gas. Our Muthiya is ready and we will take it in serving plate. You can use it as light dinner or breakfast. You can even give it to kids in lunch box. Please try my recipe and let me know in comment box.
