Sign up for my course or mailing list: https://psyche-soma-sol.thinkific.com Welcome to this guided script designed to support you in regulating your limbic system during a histamine intolerance or MCAS flare-up. By engaging in this visualization and relaxation exercise, you will focus on creating a sense of safety and calmness when trying new foods or entering new environments. This script aims to help you navigate these situations with greater ease and confidence. Find a comfortable position, close your eyes, and let's begin: Take a moment to find a comfortable position, allowing your body to relax. Begin by taking a few deep breaths, inhaling deeply through your nose, and exhaling slowly through your mouth. With each breath, release any tension or anxiety you may be holding. Now, imagine yourself in a peaceful and safe environment. It can be a place that brings you a sense of comfort and tranquility—a cozy room, a serene garden, or a calming beach. Picture this place clearly in your mind. As you stand in this safe environment, become aware of any sensations or discomfort in your body caused by the histamine intolerance flare-up. Acknowledge these feelings without judgment, knowing that you are here to support yourself in finding balance. Visualize a soft, healing light above you, emanating a warm and nurturing energy. This light represents the power of healing and calmness. Watch as it begins to descend slowly, enveloping you in its comforting glow. As this healing light surrounds you, feel its warmth and soothing energy penetrating your body, particularly focusing on your limbic system. Visualize this light gently touching and nourishing your limbic system, bringing it back to balance and harmony. With each breath, imagine this healing light calming any inflammation or dysregulation in your limbic system. See it soothing any hyperactivity or heightened responses caused by the histamine intolerance. Feel a sense of safety and calmness spreading throughout your entire being. Now, bring your attention to trying a new food or entering a new environment. Imagine yourself in a situation where you are about to engage with something unfamiliar. Visualize the food or the environment clearly in your mind. As you approach this new experience, imagine the healing light surrounding and protecting you. See it forming a shield of calmness around your body and your limbic system. This shield acts as a barrier, filtering out any triggers or reactions that may cause discomfort. Know that you are safe within this protective shield, allowing yourself to explore and embrace new experiences with confidence and ease. Trust in your body's ability to navigate and regulate its responses. As you continue to breathe deeply, repeat the following affirmations to support the regulation of your limbic system: • "I am safe and supported in trying new foods and environments." • "My limbic system is finding balance and stability." • "I trust my body's signals and responses." • "I am open to new experiences with a sense of calmness and curiosity." Allow these affirmations to resonate within you, reinforcing your sense of safety and calmness. Now, slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment. Take a deep breath, feeling a renewed sense of stability and trust within yourself. When you are ready, open your eyes, knowing that you have taken a significant step towards regulating your limbic system and navigating new situations with confidence. Remember to revisit this script whenever you face new food or environmental challenges due to histamine intolerance. Practice self-compassion and patience throughout your healing journey. Trust in your body's ability to find balance and adapt to new experiences. Embrace the newfound sense of safety and calmness as you move forward with confidence.
