We discuss what this might mean for the sport in the near-term, if they can pull off the kind of tricks they have planned. Renault is taking the keys to the Enstone factory, officially this time, and sending a set of badge-less engines to Red Bull. Red Bull have also made it official that they will be badge-ing those engines with TAG-Heuer badges, and we all can't wait to see what they can do with them... and all the other sponsors who have shuffled around and around. We went over the results we could find from the World Motorsports Council meeting which happened since our last show, and also discuss the potential sale of the controlling stake in F1 by CVC Capital Partners to one of a select few individuals. Bernie made this information known this past week, stating that there are only "probably 4 people in the world who could afford it". But he also said the same thing this time last year so... Somewhere in there we also discussed www.Motorsport.com as a source for racing news, and who is really writing all of those juicy stories? And how much weight do a lot of them really have? Could we all be enjoying our Formula 1 action through Amazon Prime??? There were, of course, a lot of other points discussed, but you'll have to give a listen to discover what they are. Thanks for checking out the show!
