Soutbound hike on the Pacific Crest Trail 2022, this is the first part, hiking thru Washington, from Hearts pass to Cascade Locks. 535 miles / 858 km Start date I was supposed to start on July 1. But seeing all the snow in the North Cascades and hearing that people couldn’t make it to the border, I decided to push my start date 14 days. And then I got an overuse injury in my knee and had to push the start date a week more and hoping my knee would be ok by then.
