In Bliss, Carrie About Self Sound Journeys for Self Nurture: Carrie was introduced to Tibetan/ Himalayan singing bowls in 2012 when her boyfriend invited her to play his singing bowl, he only had a wooden stick that would sound too loud and when rubbed the bowl produced such an intense sound that she really didn't get it... Forward a couple years later and she was introduced to a whole new world when she attended a talk about singing bowls, the lady who ran the work shop demonstrated the bowls using firm felt mallets that produced soothing tones and she felt herself being transported to another world, experiencing something she hadn't before. Intrigued, she chose to experience a one-to-one session which had an amazing healing effect on the body and from there decided to learn how to give Sound Massage herself. This has helped her with her own self care and is a beautiful way of helping others bring self love into their lives as well, by taking time out and allowing themselves to let go of worries and troubles, She is now expanding her knowledge to a variety of different instruments including Hand Frame Drum, Djembe, Kalimba, Rainstick, shakers, tuning forks, mood balls, chimes, cymbal... Carrie loves to experiment with the different sounds each of these instruments make and the effect on the body and mind.
