GST 2.0 , Piyush Goyal Exclusive Interview with Rahul Joshi: पीयूष गोयल से समझिए GST का गणित| भारत में GST काउंसिल की 56वीं बैठक में वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने बड़ा बदलाव किया है। अब GST 2.0 के तहत 4 स्लैब (5%, 12%, 18%, 28%) घटाकर सिर्फ 2 स्लैब 5% और 18% कर दिए गए हैं। साबुन, शैंपू, AC, कार जैसी रोजमर्रा की चीजें होंगी सस्ती, जबकि दूध, रोटी, पिज्जा ब्रेड, छेना और कई फूड प्रोडक्ट्स अब पूरी तरह GST फ्री होंगे। हेल्थ और लाइफ इंश्योरेंस प्रीमियम पर भी अब कोई टैक्स नहीं लगेगा। इसके अलावा 33 जीवन रक्षक और दुर्लभ बीमारियों की दवाओं को भी टैक्स से मुक्त किया गया है। वहीं लग्जरी प्रोडक्ट्स पर टैक्स बढ़ाकर 40% GST कर दिया गया है, जिसमें बड़ी कारें, SUVs और 350cc से ऊपर की बाइक शामिल हैं। इन सुधारों का मकसद है आम आदमी को राहत, छोटे व्यवसायों को बढ़ावा और टैक्स सिस्टम को सरल बनाना। जानिए विस्तार से GST 2.0 आपके लिए क्या लेकर आया है। India’s GST Council has rolled out GST 2.0 reforms after its 56th meeting chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The slabs have been simplified from 4 (5%, 12%, 18%, 28%) into just 2 slabs — 5% and 18%. Essential goods like soap, shampoo, ACs, and cars will get cheaper, while essentials such as milk, bread, paneer, and several food items will be completely GST-free. Individuals will also benefit as health and life insurance premiums attract zero tax. In a major relief, 33 lifesaving and rare disease medicines will also be tax-free. However, luxury goods see a revision — instead of 28%, they will now attract 40% GST including big cars, SUVs, and 350cc+ bikes.
