You don't need to be an experienced rally driver to compete at the Whiteline Tarmac Rallysprint. In fact you only need to be over 12 years old to compete and to ensure that juniors get the opportunity to learn from more experienced competitors, there are instructors from trackschool.com.au on hand to guide and mentor young drivers. Instructors can sit in the car and give tips and techniques to allow younger drivers to get better at the sport. In this video we talk to Oscar Middleton, who's still on his red "P" plates and is entered for the whole series. He has asked his Grandfather, Ross Middleton to co-drive for him. Ross is a well experienced navigator and whilst now retired, hasn't lost his passion for the sport of rallying. Trackschool are one of the series sponsors and you can find out more about their track days and instructing services at www.trackschool.com.au And if you want to drive your standard, modified, race or rally car fast on a road circuit in a safe and controlled environment, then you should come to the Whiteline Tarmac Rallysprint Series held in Sydney on a weeknight each month during summer.
