Synopsis Five years after the death of Imran Zakayev, the leader of a Russian nationalist extremist group, in the previous film, he has become a martyr, leading the extremist party to a stellar electoral victory and a full rise to power. The new leader is Vladimir Makarov, Zakayev's former protégé, a ruthless and even more dangerous terrorist.
