Russia claims gains in continuing bombardment of Ukraine

In southern Ukraine, Russians are claiming they have taken their first Ukrainian city since the fighting started, the Black Sea port of Kherson. Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city has also seen renewed attacks, with Russian paratroopers reportedly in the outskirts of the city. Elsewhere, the residents of the city of Erehodar blocked the road to Europe's largest nuclear power station in a standoff with Russian forces. Al Jazeera's Andrew Simmons reports.
