I have a Bach gig next week, so I needed an oboe d'amore reed. Oboe d'amore is the alto oboe, in the key of A. It's like a little baby English horn, but I make the reeds ALMOST EXACTLY like oboe reeds. This reed: Mexican cane. Innoledy gouge. Rigotti 2 shape. Basic bronze d'amore tube without collar.
