This video marks the first real pause in the Field Notes by Cai journey. I begin by revisiting the opening moments of Day 1, reflecting on how much ground has already been covered and how, somehow, it still feels like we’re only just getting started. There are so many ideas ahead, so many musical places left to visit, and so much still to explore. This episode plays the final idea from every single day so far — 29 sketches in total — and opens up the next phase of the project: deciding, together, which ideas are worth carrying forward. How ‘Album Select 1’ works I’d love your help choosing which pieces should be developed further into full, finished tracks for the album.
