Song of Songs KJV Dramatized Audio Bible

The Song of songs or the Song of Solomon as it's sometimes called is a very romantic book to say the least. It shows the love and romance between King Solomon and his wife who was a Shunamite woman. The deeper meaning that lies behind this story of this husband and wife is that it is a representation of how Jesus loves his bride which is the church, all of his redeemed people that he died to save, and the love that his people have for him. In fact throughout the whole bible marriage is used to show us many things about our relationship towards God and God's relationship towards his people. In Genesis we see the first marriage in history between Adam and Eve and in Revelation when all of God's people are gathered together in heaven at the end of history we see the marriage supper of the lamb where God's people are married to him in a sense as they get to be his people throughout eternity. Isaiah 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
