FBI are searching along route 88 in Westport, Massachusetts. They say there's no threat to the public, but wouldn't elaborate on the nature of their search. Now, many are wondering if the search is related to unsolved serial kill1ngs that occurred between March 1988 and April 1989 dubbed the New Bedford Highway Kill3r case. Some are also wondering if Long Island Ser1al Kill3r suspect Rex Heuermann could be connected to the New Bedford Highway Kill1ngs. The New Bedford Highway Kill3r victims were mainly sex workers taken from New Bedford, Massachusetts, and found in various nearby towns and along route 140. Two of the suspected 11 victims were never located.
