So why is a sinless Jesus down at the Jordan river waiting in line to be baptized? And why, when the pressure is on and his crucifixion draws near, does Jesus return to the Jordan? Could it be that the common answers (which normally rely on Matthew's gospel) don't have the answer for Mark?
