In this recipe, we’ll show you how to make tender chicken coated in a rich, sticky sauce made from soy sauce, honey, sriracha, and freshly minced garlic. This dish is quick, easy, and perfect for any night of the week. Serve it over fluffy white rice and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions for a simple yet impressive meal. Ingredients: 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup soy sauce 2 tablespoons honey 1-2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust to taste) 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons cornstarch (for sauce slurry) 2 tablespoons cold water (for sauce slurry) 1 lb (450g) chicken breast or thigh, cut into bite-sized pieces 2 tablespoons cornstarch (for coating chicken) Cooking oil (for sautéing) Salt and pepper to taste White rice, for serving Sesame seeds and sliced green onions, for garnish Instructions: Mince garlic. In a medium saucepan, combine water, soy sauce, honey, sriracha, and minced garlic. Set the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally. In a small dish, stir together 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of cold water until dissolved. Pour the cornstarch slurry into the saucepan and stir until the sauce thickens. Reduce heat to low. Place chicken pieces into a large zip-top bag and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch. Seal the bag and toss to coat the chicken evenly. Heat a large non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly coat with oil. Add chicken in a single layer and sauté for a few minutes on each side until cooked through. Cook in batches if needed. Once the chicken is cooked, turn off the heat and pour the sauce over it. Stir to coat the chicken evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
