It turns out Peggy Sue was the dream self of the legendary steed Pegasus. She has now been restored, and the party acquired the Celestial Reins, which they can use to make her fly in the dream world and the real world. After resuming, the party Zooms back to Cloudsgate Citadel in the dream world (time 0:36). In the citadel throne room, they talk to Lord Zenith (time 1:47). He restores Pegasus's full power to her and enhances the Celestial Reins. Now, Pegasus can take them to the Dread Realm! Fantastic! However, Lord Zenith warns the party that the Dread Realm will be dangerous, and he is quite correct. It will prove even nastier than Nadiria in the previous two games. Outside, the party uses the Celestial Reins to take Peggy Sue on a test flight (time 4:46). This game's flight theme is gorgeous. In the northwest of the world, they land at Medford's Manor (time 5:10). In the throne room, they chat with King Medford himself (time 5:23). As a reward for 90 Mini Medals, he gives them a copy of Dragonic Diligence! This item allows one party member to take on the Dragon vocation. He does not reveal the prize for earning 100 Mini Medals, but it is the Robust Lingerie, an amazing piece of equipment with 100 Style. After another flight, the party lands at Alltrades Abbey (time 7:07). There, Carver, having fortuitously mastered Gladiator in the last battle at the Pillar of Pegasus, uses the Dragonic Diligence to take on the Dragon vocation. He starts out at Dragon Rank 1, Dragonfly. Then, the party returns to the Spiegelspire for a bit more vocation grinding (time 8:29). Having that Sunderbolt Blade will certainly help Milly out. At the end of the first battle, Carver learns the Rank 1 Dragon ability, Fire Breath (time 9:00). A little later, Healie, the Healslime, reaches Level 29 (time 11:54). Amos reaches Martial Artist Rank 5, Black Belt. He learns Knuckle Sandwich. Then, Carver reaches Dragon Rank 2, Small Fry (time 13:34). That was fast. He learns Cool Breath. A few minutes afterwards, Heorot reaches Hero Rank 5, Continental Hero (time 18:06). He learns Meditation, which is essentially a free Midheal on oneself. Next, Nevan reaches Mage Rank 7, Wizard (time 21:06). He learns Kasnooze. Shortly afterwards, Nevan, the Ghentile Prodigy, reaches Level 34 (time 22:43). Amos, the Local Hero, reaches Level 32. Ashlynn reaches Warrior Rank 8, Sword Lord, and learns Hatchet Man. The party goes back to Alltrades Abbey (time 23:53). Ashlynn now has the Armamentalist vocation available, but first, she will start training up to Luminary for the Style contests. She starts her road to Luminary with the Dancer vocation. She starts at Dancer Rank 1, Aspiring Talent. After the first battle, Carver reaches Dragon Rank 3, Lesser Dragon (time 25:19). He learns Flame Breath. Healie reaches Sage Rank 5, Savant. He learns Fissure. Ashlynn learns the Rank 1 Dancer ability, Sultry Dance. Then, Milly reaches Mage Rank 5, Conjurer (time 26:43). She learns Boom. Shortly afterwards, Goowain reaches Paladin Rank 5, Gold Knight (time 27:52). He learns Magic Barrier. Then, Ashlynn reaches Dancer Rank 2, Understudy (time 28:34). She learns Dodgy Dance. The party returns to Alltrades Abbey for rest and relaxation. Thanks for watching! This video is part of my Dragon Quest VI [DS] Playthrough playlist.
