Today I went for a walk along the hinnie , talking to fellow anglers, while trying to land a trout myself . This video captures that day , forever . Talked to some wonderful people. The river was full of trout, every pool was stacked. Catch and release , lovely well conditioned trout , released to fight another day . I love coming down to Taupō I was using a single weighted glo bug most of the time today . Real good for this snaggy river . Primal brand , weight 6 fly rod is what I use .
