北 "트럼프 대북정책 악랄하고 호전적…미국이 선택한다면 우리는 전쟁하겠다" We start off with North Korea... speaking out against President Trump's strong rhetoric aimed at the regime in recent days. In a rare interview with foreign journalists, the North's vice foreign minister said the tensions in the region aren't Pyongyang's fault... but that of the U.S. administration. Kwon Jang-ho has the details. North Korea has once again declared that it is ready to go to war with the U.S. if necessary,...but it also said U.S. President Donald Trump is the one to be blamed for escalating tensions. In an interview with the Associated Press in Pyongyang, Vice foreign minister Han Song-ryol said it was Trump's "aggressive" tweets that was "causing trouble" in the region, and leading to a "vicious cycle" of worsening relations. AP 4091288 "Trump says it's none other than North Korea which makes things complicated, but it's the other way around, it's not North Korea, but the U.S. which makes problems." Han warned that if the U.S. decides to make any reckless military maneuver, Pyongyang would not be afraid to retaliate and use its nuclear arsenal. This can also be seen as a response to the U.S. recently deciding to divert the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier and accompanying battleships towards waters near the Korean peninsula earlier this week. Washington has said it is within the strike group's usual parameters to be in the region, but Trump has also called it a 'very powerful armada', putting further pressure on Pyongyang. Regarding any future nuclear or missile tests, Han gave little detail away, keeping cards close to his chest. "A nuclear test is something that our supreme headquarters decide. It will take place at a time and at a place that the supreme headquarters deems necessary." Concerns remain that Pyongyang might conduct a sixth nuclear test some time this week to coincide with the 105th birthday celebrations of Kim Il-Sung, the regime's founder. But in the meantime, a military parade is expected to take place over the weekend, where there has been some suggestion that the North might reveal a new type of missile during the proceedings.
