US President, Joe Biden tests positive for COVID-19

US President Joe Biden has tested positive for COVID-19, although his symptoms are understood to be very mild. The White House has confirmed Biden is fully vaccinated, has twice received booster jabs and will continue to work in isolation. Biden's Press Secretary says the 79-year-old has been taking a course of the antiviral treatment Paxlovid and will resume in-person work once he tests negative.
