DmC - glitching in Face of the Demon (Mission 19)

I: it's possible to start infinite gliding at the very start of the level, when the building collapses. Pretty hard to do, though. This trick might even save a little time in a speedrun. II: some sightseeing at the first phase of the boss battle. Nice environmental details include flashing police lights somewhere on the street level, burning buildings and at least one helicopter flying around. III: the result of doing the building skip too quickly on PS3. The cutscene starts, perhaps partially unloaded, causing Dante to keep falling down repeatedly as dramatic stuff happens somewhere outside camera. Eventually Dante respawns back inside the building, but Vergil is nowhere to be seen, leaving you unable to open the door to leave... (Not on the vid: one time I did an infinite glide out of the windows here. The camera angle showed the building unloading and Vergil falling down directly into the nothingness below. It was pretty hilarious.) IV: another variation that can happen with the building skip. Dante respawns at the post-cutscene platform but before the boss even realizes he is there. You can't harm the boss at the moment, so you are likely stuck if this happens. V: This happened after I infinite glided around, perhaps went from one building to the next too early during the boss battle. It looks like a part of the boss' body is crowding the battlefield. Dante is stuck underneath. Boss' attacks won't hit Dante like this, and you can't hurt the boss either. VI: a glitch for Heaven & Hell-mode. Die as you destroy one of Mundus' arms. This causes Dante to break free from the following cutscene. You may also Pull the eye prompt early, causing an extra glitch (seen in VII). If you get yourself killed again during the eye Pull cutscene, the camera starts showing Dante who has no animations for the time being. Gliding around or doing attacks looks silly. VII: finally, doing the early eye Pull, Mundus goes to a strange mixed state between 1st and 2nd phase. He still does attacks with his hands (now invisible), but is hunched forwards like in the 2nd phase. Not sure if you can hurt him in this glitched mode, but if Dante dies or switches between buildings, things go back to normal. Unfortunately it's not likely you could skip phases of the boss fight with this trick. --- DmC Glitch FAQ: http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps3/605600-dm...
