Cyclone Amphan kills more than 12 in India and Bangladesh, leaving trail of destruction | ABC News

More than 12 people have been killed and thousands of homes destroyed by a powerful cyclone which struck eastern India and Bangladesh. Cyclone Amphan made landfall in West Bangal before making its way over Kolkata, home to 15 million people. It's left a trail of destruction, which authorities say will take days to fully assess.
