New Zealand’s Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters has stepped up his government's attack against Australia's deportation of Kiwi criminals. Mr Peters said Australia’s deportation practices were unfair to NZ and the Ardern government was only calling for fair treatment. He said he was prepared to debate any Australian politician on the issue. Senior figures within the NZ government reportedly revealed they were going to maintain pressure on the issue despite clear indications the Morrison government was not going to budge on its position.
