The musician, actress and tabloid favourite marks her non-fiction literary debut with 'Dirty Blonde: The Diaries of Courtney Love.' Instead of a linear remembrance of things past, Love filled the pages with photos, clippings and doodles - everything, but a conventional narrative. "Oh yeah, it's definitely a scrapbook," Love told AP Television. "I mean, that is, by definition, what it is. But I think all the pieces come together to tell the story, too," she said. The result is an impromptu memoir, reaching back to childhood horrors and highlights. The story moves through her life with her late legendary husband -rocker Kurt Cobain, and takes the reader through the time after his death. It continues with the triumphs and tribulations of her life today, as an artist, a mother and recovering addict. She is reportedly 15 months sober. The singer mentioned "all the foster homes" she was in, and showed a list, and accompanying letter from the Children's Services Division.
