Raising Meat Pigs on Small Homestead • Spring 2022 Episode 2
In 2021, I tried raising hogs for meat for the first time. 2020 was my first year with chickens and in 2021, I expanded my little homestead to include raising chickens for meat and pigs for meat. It was a fantastic experience and I am looking forward to doing it again this year. At the beginning of the video, I am showing you my plans for the 2022 growing season and then we rewind and look at how 2021 went. I am fortunate enough to have a local butcher very close by who has taught me so much and was willing to also butcher my pigs to show me how to do it. This video includes that footage also.
