So, here's what I've done to make this: First, I went out and hunted down the instrumentals for 22 of the songs that appear on some of my favorite screwtapes (Wineberry Over Gold, 3 'n' da Mornin' Part 2, 10201, G Love, All Screwed Up, Road To Riches, Biggie Vs. Pac, and a few others) at their original pitch and speed, either by finding a clean copy on youtube or by brute forcing it with a stem splitter. Then I carefully adjusted the speed & pitch to more-or-less match the tempo and key they appear at on their associated record, arranged them into this little playlist, and found a nice Homer Simpson visual to go with it. No extra scratching or chopping was done here so you're free to practice your scratches, raps, chops, or whatever you like with these. The only caveat is that I don't actually own the rights to anything so if you want to use these as part of something that you plan on actually making money with then I'm afraid I can't really help you there. Basically you're probably in the clear to upload a rap made with one of these to Youtube or Soundcloud or something but Spotify and other services that actually make you money are a no-go unless you somehow manage to miraculously pull some strings with that particular track's associated record label. Nevertheless, I hope you dig it! Big shout-outs to DJ Screw as well as all the artists featured within!
