Highlights of the BWF Para-Badminton Legacy Project in Pan Am

We hosted the BWF Para-Badminton Legacy Project in Pan Am at La Videna, Lima Peru between 29 July – 6 August. 6 countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru) participated in the project. Over 50 new Para-Badminton athletes, coaches, managers attended the 9 day project. We organized Coaches’ and Players Workshop, National Classifiers Workshop, Administration Workshop, iambadminton Campaign, Para-Badminton Athletes Commission Players Meeting, as well running the Peru Para-Badminton International 2017 where all the project participants were competing at their first international tournament. The tournament itself had over 100 athletes coming from Asia, Europe and Pan Am. We would like to thank the International Paralympic Committee, Agitos Foundation, Badminton Pan Am, Badminton Peru, Lima 2019, Adecco, NPCs, Badminton Associations and all teams, managers and coaches for supporting this project.
