After we see Ratchet escaping from Nefarious City (Part 2), we shift our focus to the other main character in this game — Rivet, Ratchet’s counterpart in this dimension. We see Rivet picking up Clank and escaping from Nefarious City in her ship, heading to Planet Sargasso, where her hideout is located. While attempting to land near her home, Rivet’s ship is attacked by Dr. Nefarious’s army, causing her to crash-land elsewhere on the planet. Now, she must find a way back to her hideout. Before she can reach it, however, she also needs to rescue her friends, the Morts, who are under attack by Nefarious’s forces. Sargasso is a large planet, and this video won’t be the only one featuring it. Later in the game, you’ll need to return here to complete side quests and collect any remaining collectibles. There are various enemies in this area. One of the most dangerous is the Grunthor — a T-Rex–like creature that hurls massive rocks, dealing tremendous damage. As for Dr. Nefarious’s soldiers, they aren’t particularly strong individually, but they often attack in groups, which can be challenging. You’ll also encounter a new enemy type equipped with jetpacks, allowing them to attack from the air. The main boss in this section is the Seekerpede — a massive, scorpion-shaped machine that uses multiple types of attacks. It can fire lasers, rockets, and bombs from the sky, and sometimes uses its large wings as blades to strike at you. Each of its attacks inflicts heavy damage, so make sure your health bar is full before facing it. Fortunately, health boxes are usually scattered around the area where you fight this boss. There are four trophies that can be unlocked in this part of the game: 1. Quantum Mechanic (Bronze Trophy) – Repair your first Dimensional Anomaly. 2. Nooks & Crannies (Silver Trophy) – Collect five Golden Bolts. 3. Hide ’N Seekerpede (Bronze Trophy) – Defeat the Seekerpede. 4. Lombax and Chill (Bronze Trophy) – Turn on the TV while in Rivet’s hideout. One of the weapons you can purchase from Mrs. Zurkon in this part is the Topiary Sprinkler, which becomes one of the most powerful weapons after being fully upgraded. This weapon can freeze enemies in place for a few seconds, allowing you to attack them freely with any other weapon. The other weapon Rivet obtains here is the Ricochet. Although it’s not as powerful as the Topiary Sprinkler, it’s still very important because there’s a trophy associated with it. If you want to achieve 100% completion in the game, you must purchase this weapon.
