Day 7: Saturday Evening – Finding Peace in Total Surrender

Day 7: Saturday Evening – Finding Peace in Total Surrender This is our last post for this week's Surrender Devotional! Scripture: Psalm 46:10 (NIV) "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." Reflection: After a week of practicing surrender, we come to stillness. “Be still” literally means “let go” or “relax your grip.” When we cease striving, stop trying to fix, control, or understand everything, we experientially know God as sovereign. In that quiet place, His lordship becomes real, and peace floods in. He will be exalted, with or without our help. Total surrender brings rest because we finally recognize the battle belongs to Him. Prayer: Father, I am still before You now. I let go of striving and simply know that You are God. Quiet my soul. Thank You for all You’ve taught me about surrender this week. I rest in Your exaltation. Application: Spend 10 minutes in silent stillness before God (no music, no words if possible). Reflect afterward: How has your understanding or experience of surrender grown this week? Comment below!
