The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) has fired three ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan from Hwangju County in North Hwanghae province on Monday, ahead of the country's National Day. South Korea's military say all three missiles were medium-range Rodong-class missiles, which have a maximum range of 1,000 kilometers. Also, it was said that the latest test is believed to have traveled about 1,000 kilometers. CCTV’s correspondent Shane Hahm has more.
