Lexus NX 450h+ 2022 - the best hybrid, but which SUV? (PL) - test and test drive
The 2022 Lexus NX is larger in every direction than its predecessor. It's 2 cm longer and wider, has a 3 cm longer wheelbase, and is half a centimeter taller. The front track has grown by 3 cm, and the rear by almost 6 cm. This is the 450h+ version, meaning it features a plug-in hybrid drivetrain. As a result, the fuel filler is on the left side, and the charging port is on the right. Lexus designers took a comprehensive approach to the design. The hybrid drivetrain is an integral part of the model, not an intrusive add-on, as is the case with, for example, the BMW X3. Of course, in a BMW, all-wheel drive is linked to the combustion engine, whereas the Lexus NX has an electric motor in the rear, and a plug-in hybrid doesn't require a driveshaft. This means the additional traction batteries are located under the floor, eliminating the need to move the fuel tank. The infotainment system has enormous potential, but I'd gladly play with it in a few updates.
