Weather in 5 two storms on the maps today with the lead one moving into the Northeast. This storm is impacting a large area from the Mississippi River eastward to the coast with snow around the Great Lakes, heavy rain in the Ohio Valley, and severe weather in parts of the South. The next weather system for the Northeast and Northern Mid Atlantic states will be coming out of the Southwest where we have numerous winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories there tonight.
