Thermodynamics - Converting Heat Energy Into Electricity Using a Thermoelectric Generator

This thermodynamics video tutorial explains how to convert heat into electricity using a thermoelectric generator. This device takes advantage of a temperature differential between its two sides converting the heat flow into an electric current. The TEG is composed on n-type and p-type semiconductors which forms a thermocouple. Two effects that are related to the use of this device are the seebeck effect and the peltier effect.
