Bandai Godzilla: Mechagodzilla Figure Unboxing & Review | The PopComplex
In this video I unbox and review the Bandai 6.5" scale Mechagodzilla figure from their Godzilla line. Mechagodzilla made his first appearance in the TOHO Studios 1974 Kaiju film "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla" and this figure is modeled after that appearance. His subsequent film appearance was just one year later in the TOHO Kaiju/Godzilla film: "Terror of Mechagodzilla" (1975) and was the last Godzilla film of the innovative Showa Era. Mechagodzilla didn't show up again in the film world until 1993 in the Heisei Era film "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II". Again he made two more appearances in the Millennium Era in "Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla" (2002) and "Toyko: S.O.S." (2003), and most recently in the Legendary Pictures 2021 film "Godzilla vs. Kong". Check out my many other Godzilla and Kaiju figure videos on my channel!
