Final Fantasy 5 HD Walkthrough Part 73: The Crystals Final/A Great Loss

After subduing the crystals X-Death shows up and places us in some kind of restraint spell with the crystals. Thile he is monologing Krilie shows up and temporarily knocks out X-Death and tries to save us but X-Death comes around and places a curse around Krilie. Galuf, knowing what that curse will do, manages to break free of his crystal by destroying it and then saves Krilie by taking the curse meant for her. Now Galuf must fight against X-Death alone. Galuf is able to win and X-Death is forced to retreat but the damage is done. The curse takes its toll and Galuf is killed. Devastated the team decides on their next course of action. They all decide that they need to stop X-Death and agree that they should head to his castle.
