How Great Is Our God Goes Heavy (Lyrics and Melody by Chris Tomlin)

This has been a passion project for far too long now and I'm excited to finally share it. I have always loved the simplicity of this lyric. Just declaring the greatness of God. Not even for what he's done, but because of who he is. His very existence demands to be praised. Yet he still took on human flesh, suffered, and died for us. How great is that... A distorted guitar also has a special way of speaking to my soul, and it's hard to match beauty of an instrumental piano, or the fullness of an orchestra. I've longed to hear this song arranged with those elements so I finally did it. The melody and lyric are originally by Chris Tomlin. I've just done my own version of all of the instrumentals either by playing or painstakingly programing every note by hand. A special thanks to the endlessly talented Eryn for crushing the vocals, and to Kipp for hanging out while we spent hours getting the vocal just right. I hope you all enjoy hearing this as much as I enjoyed creating it, and thanks to God for being great.
