After delaying it for the last year I finally got around to sorting out the flashing issues that had stopped me from fixing the rich and erratic AFR on the Swift. It was probably also the right time to dial it in as the engine has now had a couple of hours running in. After 6 runs of 3000-8000rpm I now have an AFR that sits between 12.4-12.6 and this is so much better than the 9.8-11.9 range it had before, it was so bad before I kept fowling plugs in the corners which would then cause a coughing and spluttering car on exit. While the peak power probably hasn't changed (this dyno reckons I am making 260hp at the fly @9050rpm), the lower end from 4000-8000 is now magic and comes on so strongly, making a flat and wide torque curve from 6100-9800rpm. The video is from just under 3000 to 9800rpm and with it running clean now I will be able to get out of the corners a lot faster, much like I did before the rebuild.
